I think what he's trying to do is decompile the model and import it's reference smd into a program so he can edit it. For that you need a decompiler, like mentioned before, you can use milkshape to decompile any mdl file.

With permission from the dev leader I can give you the model but I'm not sure about import that high res, I never done it. And you can always download the original MS mod which has the model there as well.
