Srsly if you can get that right your work will look 10x better.

I really hate that magic wand tool - I click on a green template, and it marks the green template AND the white piece of shit

Re: feedback pl0x, ****.

Proper cutouts don't involve the magic wand.

Exactly, Mikkel

It takes time. I use the lasso tool and the magnetic lasso tool. If something really bugs me I use that.. outliner tool.

Edit: Heres a five minute job. Not perfect, but you get the picture. Used here: Extract tool, lasso tool, size 19 hard eraser.

Yay for picture scaling. Oh btw if anyone's curious, then yes, I made that background myself. I love bryce <3

Re: feedback pl0x, ****.

Backgrounds are looking good. The random objects in #1 look bad but the MS:C guy in #3 fits despite his gray-scale in front of the vivid orange background.

Was just a test. The orange background is my current wallpaper haha, I just showed the work when you cut out.

I thought CS3 was a masterful improvement... Except for the fact I can't ctrl-click on a layer to out-line select it anymore... Indeed, I can't figure out how to do that anymore, save for magic wand, which isn't as accurate, if you don't switch it to some unusual properties first.

Re: feedback pl0x, ****.

No, PC... But Adobe still makes all its products first and foremost for the Mac, so right-click rarely, if ever, does anything useful. (h8! :oldangry: )

At least it isn't like their old products. I remember Photoshop 3.0 basically ran ontop of a Mac emulator, so you'd lose all your windows preferences, like typmatic rate, dbl click speed, window sizes, and such. So I suppose they may eventually discover the wonders of having a second button.

I can dream, can't I?

Re: feedback pl0x, ****.

You can, but I don't care.
After a whole semester of three OSs, Windows is way better, XP or otherwise. I'm pretty sure Apple does some things with the Mac that are there just to spite PC users...Also, USB transfer rate is more bottlenecked than...I dunno.

Re: feedback pl0x, ****.

Now that you mentioned MAC OS... is it able to run games like half life&MSC,DOS games, emulators and such; or is it something worse than Vista?
