INFO FN Access Request Instructions

To gain access to FN so that you may host servers, please refer to the instructions below and follow the directions.

Note: FN Administration is now done by Thothie. Do not message anyone else (mikkel, blasto, PY004, fuzzyfish, etc) regarding FN access. Any attempt to do so will be ignored!

Few requirements for FN hosts:

• Be able to host an HLDS 24/7
• Can keep the server unpassworded most of the time, as personal play space doesn't help the community.
- It's alright to votelock though.
• That you've had a fair amount of presence in the on-line community and forums.
• Be aware that FN password holders are held to a higher standard. This means if you are caught exploiting or cheating in any way, your characters will be deleted, and your account banned from FN.

To become an FN host, additionally, we will need:
• The external IP and port you intend to host with.
• Your Steam ID.
• A few days to go over your character's exchange histories.

We generally prefer folks who have been active on the forums for awhile, so we've some idea as to their nature, and thus the odds of them causing havoc on FN. Beyond that, favor goes to those outside existing FN service areas.
