How the * do you change your group/guild in the forums? I have 3 "guild sections" in the forums and for some reason the last one i joined out of curiosity in the old forums is the one that displays in the new forums, which is the true followers of the lost. Except i'm in BoU, so i guess it would be more fitting to have that one display instead.

Been trying to figure out how to change this thing for a while now but i gave up. So here i am. Any suggestions?

Also i think there is no way for players to add new people into guilds in these forums, we got a new member the other day and Vecna couldn't add this new player to the hidden forums or guild in the forums.

[ EDIT: I was testing the wrong user! Fixed with results below. ]

Hrmm... When I test your permissions I see all those guilds, and BoU, just fine.

But I don't see any way to manage user groups from the public interface...

Maybe RKS could help, but otherwise - we may need a plugin or something to restore this functionality. I'd hate to have to have every guild member request go through the moderators with access to the CP, but I suppose it may come down to that.

Meanwhile, which of these guilds do you have control of and want to add Vecna to? I'd have to go through the archive to verify which guild forums you actually have moderator on.
edit2: Wait, in the archive of the old forum, you don't have leader auth in any of those guilds. ><

Yeah i have no authority in any of the guilds since i left tPoD. Vecna/Borya (in forums) is the one currently managing the guild, on discord i recall him mentioning having issues figuring out how to add the new player to the guild forums here. Which is why i also mentioned that along with my issue.

Having an user group option like the old forums would be nice indeed. It sounds annoying to have to bother someone with that stuff when you could be doing it yourself.

Indeed... Annoying for both ends.

Just for the record - as I'm actually going to need this after the patch and the crest passwords go out:

Considering a system where the designated leader, determined by his Steam ID, can add members he can interact with, tag their quest data, and thus they'll be able to prove they belong to the guild in question. Just can't think of a way he'd be able to remove members he couldn't interact with though. Also means if he changes Steam ID's, he'll have to wait for the next patch to re-auth.

I'll look into this to see if it's possible (and if not, come up with a solution). I would need a list of those who should have access to make those changes.

Your user group title is taken from which ever group you're part of that has the highest priority. I'll see if there's a way to allow you to choose which one you want.

I don't have an exhaustive list... But you do have the archive of the old page. It doesn't offer a convenient way to list all users organized by groups they belong to, but I suppose it does let you view which users belong to which groups, one at a time.

The moderators for each section are listed above, at least.
