Re: tPoD - 13 members

tPoD made it legendary.
Why not lead one or the other, instead of both. :p
Or merge them. DTPoD all the way.

Re: tPoD - 13 members

I probably wouldn't like to see any of that to happen (guild merging). This is because of past history involving certain DT members being complete idiots which made me dislike DT alot. Though i would accept if anyone wanted to try take the guild on his own and give it a try... Also why even bother running a guild on your alt, that you rarelly use while you already make part of a guild that is also in a bad shape. :?

I can't give the final word anyways, its Blasto's guild afterall, it's pretty much him to decide what happens with tPoD.

Re: tPoD - 13 members

I am going to offically close this guild, the original 3 forming members have left for either other guilds or have left never to return to MS:C. This guild has managed to work its way to the third super power that it was and held a certain level of nutrality between Rip and BoU.

Sadly just like any good pirate ship as it ages it will sink, for some this ship has sunk to soon. As for others I am sure they are gald to watch it sink, this was my first forum I had ever joined it was also my first attempt at running a guild. While I wasn't the best I was at least good at getting my name around.

The guild thread should stay up as a reminder of our past as pirates, their is yet another thread with even more history in it someplace else as well.

I was glad to be apart of it all, and gladly go down with the ship on its last voyage to dave jones locker.

The crest can move on to another guild though I say it can only be pirate themed.

Oh and here is some extra information about the guilds beginning for those that are interested, didn't tell many people this. Well all those years ago when I formed PoE (Pirates of Effreet) my original goal of the guild was not actually to form a functional guild, all I wanted was the pirate crest :p well I was having a hard time getting people to join had a few misteps and really no one ever really joined in the end. After some talks with FMU (the name escapes me at the moment) we decided to form together in an attempt to boost our guilds ranks. Together we formed tPoD! After this point I was able to get my crest I also believe by this point I was hosting FN which also boosted my populatrity, after all who wouldn't want to be friends with the one who could go in and delete all your stuff while you slept.

In the long run I found that I enjoyed running the guild, at the same time I came to a point where I realized I spent more time guild managing and checking this forum every couple hours than doing things in reality. So thus begain my disconnect, that and running FN so religously and trying to make it hacker free and all the shit that hit that fan and what nots just got to the point of time to move on. So I stopped hosting for a while and just kinda let the guild coast along with different leaders. Zeus9860 being the next leader who did the best he could, which I thank.

Here it is now with the guilds current shape at this point it would be best to let it sink and remember what it used to be. The age of pirates is over and so is the age of me running FN.

I had a good run. The guild had a good run.

And if people want to try and continue the pirate guild, they can become the FLYING DUTCHMEN.
