No, version 1.01 is for Half Life 1. As far as I know, this mod isn't being moves to HL2, but someone please prove me wrong .

If this error came up when you tried to join a server then you might need to download the patched DLL's. They are at:

i maked exactly what you said and i keep getting the error
the error i have it its when i try to create a game
the error is this:
Your Master Sword 1.0 Continued Executable is out of date. Master Sword Countinued 1.0 will now update to the current version

Haven't heard of an executable error yet. Did you make sure to follow those directions in that thread... twice?

look here's exactly what i maked

first i downloaded the ms from the 3rd mirror Gazoid http://www.gazoid.com
2nd i installed the game where i have hl (my half life version its 1.1.1.0)
c:/sierra/half-life/msc
3rd i downloaded and installed all updates in the correct order First the client update , then dll's
and i think thats all i runned the game and put multiplayer; lan game; create game and the error appeared; the same for internet games and create i dunno what could happen
