DON'T USE THE BANK (On Continued Servers up to 1.01_dev_a)

You will very likely lose your character if you use a bank - even on a Central server. Four characters have already been deleted. I'm working with fuzzy to see if we can restore them from an earlier backup.

Fuzzy will probably keep weekly archives in the future, so if you lose a veteren character due to some odd bug, such as this, you may not lose more than a weeks work on Fuznet MS Central Servers. (This includes, thus far: BoU, Thothie's, Vomika, Finely Crafted Knife Inn, and a few others)

I'll provide an Edana with a bank closed sign sometime tomorrow.

For server hosts:

Apparently there is a temporary server side patch that removes the bank via script - so no need for new edana.

It is a "use at your own risk" patch, so backup your existing DLL's. This same link updates with new sc.dll's regularly.

If it was on an [FN] Central Server, you can get info to contact His Divine Fuzzyness in this thread, and maybe he can restore you from an archive.
