Currently, it is kinda strange to find out that I am not able to attack after putting a potion in my hand AFTER I put a dagger in.

What I mean, it is currently not always clear what mouse button (or what attack command) is assigned to which hand.

Suggestion:
make a clear assignment of +attack1 to right hand and +attack2 to left hand.

If you look at your little red guy, the primary weapon/item/shield (The one that's going to be used with mouse1) is green...

Often, I don't see anything green at all (like very small daggers), because they are way too small.

My information.
If you have an attack issue; switch hands to use. A simple hand1 & hand2 script would be hell for lefties :p

And if it were to accommodate lefties, then it'd be hell to righties! (Left handed people versus Right handed people)... I think the current system of switching your primary hand with something like Mouse3 (as it is for me) is perfect.

Aha, does the switch work? I tried it several times but got nothing useful back (namely nothing).

middle of nowhere
it works perfectly...and has since 1.0...

your hands...are a two handed weapon...you cant switch to them without putting things away...thats the only reason i can think of that would make you think it doesnt work..

I had a dagger in my right hand and the switcher did not assign it to the second attack.

Suggestion: call the switcher automatically as soon as the right hand item is assigned to the second attack.

My information.
Did you have an item in your left hand too?? You need two items out for the switcher to work; otherwise it has no reason to allow you to attack using anything other than the primary mouse1 "+attack" bind...

Have a dagger & a potion out, then try using the switcher & attacking with primary, wait several seconds, use switcher button again & attack with primary. See if each one is different; then get back to this thread :D
