Who plays or is getting it?

I'm waiting it to arrive to stores here, and going to probally be in the EU server.

This is the game I have been waiting for a loooong time ago, it's pretty much what I liked from GW combined the gameplay of action games (point and clicks annoy me, reason I stopped playing GW for a while)

Please, keep out the "lol this game sux" and such comments, thanks.

Played the Demo on my bros comp (as mine at the time has a very outdated gfx card) and had fun with the swordsman for a while.

I found it very diabloesque, which is what I've been waiting for since I stopped playing D2 and suddenly had the urge about a month ago to rape enormous amounts of monsters at high speeds.

I want it, but I'm also looking at Mythos which is made from Flagship Studios.

I've been trying to find someone who has played both (mythos is in closed beta) to tell me which is more what I'm looking for.

To sum this all up.

Played Hellgate demo, liked it, want to know how the multiplayer integrates, will get that chance this christmas when my brother gets it.
But Mythos has been reported (from FSS) to be even faster paced, which is something I want. So until I see both, I won't buy either (as I'll be able to hijack my bros comp until I make my decision)

I have a Mythos account, and you can get one easily, or from me when I get invitations (I barely touched Mythos, but it seems fun).

onrpg.com has a lot of people with invitations, you should reg an account there and look for someone with invitations.

EDIT: 0 Invites, sorry.

Oooo...Could I (blinks eyes awesomely cute) (ewwwww)
PLEASEEEEE have your invite?

I signed up but i'm waiting.

Guessing that since they just gave invites out to people, it might be a bit.

Eitherway, hope when I DO get my hands on it, that it will be fun.

About your Multiplayer question;

It's like GuildWars (only meet others in town, can party, PvP, form guilds)

B2P users are confirmed to be able to have some PvP modes, not all though. Also, B2P users also get Elite mode, wich is awesome!

To tell your if you have already played diablo2 then this game will seem to be really friendly to you becasue it's just like 3D Diablo2

My information.
Jabba already bought Hellgate: London (Collectors Edition), and I've played it on his computer, too. It's pretty fun. Practically Diablo 3 (even has Wart's Leg from the first Diablo, and the little crippled kid).

It needs some patches to fix a few bugs, and smooth it out... but it's still pretty fun.
(Example Bug: When you hold down jump key you initially jump into the air smoothly, but every jump after that is pretty much instantaneous teleportation & crappy looking)

Its an RPG and shooter mix, think of it as Diablo in 3D.
Played the demo today and its a reall Hell of a game. The options allow you to set the settings matching even the "old" PCs specs, so almost anyone can enjoy it.
I like the randomisation thing like in the good old Diablo, its always different and you never know what hides behind the corner. Theres a simple and easy upgade system, bunch of mobs, awesome skills, big guns and etc. Im surely getting it when it arives out here.

The negative to it... is an agonizingly repetitive weapons setup for each class... only like four or five types per class, with different "bonus-mods" to make them a little bit different. Albeit it is still awesome, the limit in weapon choices still makes it agonizing to play for periods of time.

Actually, pretty much everone can use all weapons, Templars can't use all two-handed rifles (if at all) but they can use all swords (duh) and handguns (and there's way more than 10 types) or use two swords if they're a blademasters.

The Cabalists get more limited than the other, though, they can only use focus items.

The Hunter classes can use all the Rifles, handguns and a few melee weapons. (And there's about 10+ types of rifles and handguns, and you can mod them for different damage, range, ect...)

I was in the closed beta, albeit for the last week, and I tried the engi. I loved it! Rifles were my friend, and those bots helped so much by slowing, damaging, and taking aggro. Engi has to be THE best single player class.

HG:L is made by Flagship Studios, which was founded by a bunch of ex-Blizzard North executives who just happened to have designed Diablo.

I bet they left when Blizzard said, 'Hey, let's make a MMORPG!'

Belmont, I was thinking in reference to Summoner & Guardian classes. The game has many references to Diablo, making it more or less the sequel, or just another clone... but it has very few changes in equipment (early game), in comparison. Considering they've had more than a few years to hack at this... I'd hope for more weapons. Hopefully, it is mod-friendly and people will add many quality weapons, with noticeable uses for different monsters/bosses. That'll quench my thirst for variation. 8)

Well, I'm getting it in two days, when it FINALLY arrives (5 days after release) and I'll be playing online and I'll be hanging out in the Europe server (Sydonai). I'll probally end up being an Engineer/Guardian/Blademaster.
