I mean really, we will have the PS3 this December (I hope), and we've already super-computers (compared to last-year's models) and the XBox360. Quite frankly: PSP games are ugly & tend to run really slowly, in my opinion.

No Playstation 3 in December for us Europeans. But whatever, I'd never buy that anyway, even if it was five Euros. Current top-of-the-line graphics cards already outperform the Playstation 3's fancy "RSX", and the Cell processor will meet its superior soon enough.

As far as I know, the nVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 is better than the RSX. Also, with nVIDIA and ATi releasing DirectX 10 compatible cards in the new feature, the Playstation 3's RSX will be completely beaten. I'll see the RSX do DirectX 10 rendering

As for the Cell processor... Here is a video of the soon-to-be-released game Alan Wake being played on a computer that has an Intel Kentsfield Core 2 Quadro Q6600 (a quad-core processor):

Cell is probably able to do that as well, but sooner or later it'll be outperformed by a processor similar to this one, only better.

Yeah, my fate in Intel has risen once again. Even the weakest Core 2 Duo variant completely outperforms the Athlon 64 FX-62 (AMD's best processor at this time). Not to mention the ultra uber fast Core 2 Extreme.
