Yeaaah... Forget about chemical warfare, germ warfare, ICBM's, nuclear weapons, patented seeds, medicine for profit, eugenics, and human cloning - Autotune is by far the most evil thing Science has ever come up with. Thank you for destroying music for all time, Science, thanks a lot.

I don't mind it when I hear it in gags and maybe little student projects like this, but everytime I hear it in something actually marketed as "music" I die a little inside.

Auto-tune is basically a pitch corrector, and used in extreme cases, a something that can completely change the way a voice (or whatever) sounds.

Basically all the trash you hear on the radio now-a-days, the singers are most likely using the pitch corrector (Auto-Tune) to "perfectly" sing every note. [/biography]

*sigh* Another thing that depresses me is that half of these heroes are dead... One of the things that sucks about getting old is watching all your childhood heroes die, and seeing no evidence of anyone rising to take their place. Between Carl Sagan, George Carlin, Howard Zinn, Gene Roddenberry, and Charlton Heston... *sigh* Getting old(er) sucks.

Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, and Mumia Abdul Jamal are gonna follow hard upon, no doubt (though not by natural causes in the last case).
