Some of my games re running slow and i got the tip to defragment my discs, and today i left it on in the morning.

When i came home from school i saw that it had made 0% on the C:, it had been on for 8 hours.

Anyone knows some different program for defragmenting, exept for the one that comes whit windows?

What is the Ghz for Intel Pentium III x86 Family 6 Model 7?

If this is the first time you've defragged and your free space on the drive is very low now, then that is normal. My old computer once took 22 hours to defrag. But if your games are running slow during play, then that usually means it's something else than your hard drive. Your hard drive should only affect the loading time for the game. You might want to check your computer for spyware and viruses. This post has a lot of good info I put up with cleaning your system. Follow it and you should be fine.

And your processor can range anywhere from 500MHz to 1.2GHz I believe, it depends on your specific model.

Defrgmentation will help loading times, not help the game's speed it runs at. I'd reccomend doing adware, spyware, and virus scans to make sure theres no bad stuff on your system. On a similar note, make sure you uninstall any programs you never use, or at the very least make sure they aren't always running in the background.
