Got it a few weeks ago for TF2, my friends pressured me into paying extra to play a game early. Only other game that looked appealing to me was Portal, which I'm downloading right now.

I'm buying The Orange Box for Episode One (I have an illegal version right now >_>), Episode Two and Portal. I couldn't care less about Team Fortress 2

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy EP1, EP2 seperately? (It comes with Lost Coast too - but I wouldn't bother with that - more of a short HDR rendering demo than a game.)

Portal just seems to be a puzzle game... Be cute, but think it'll get old fast... ...and how are you downloading it? Says it's still not out on my game list. :/

I think I've made my opinion of TF2 abundantly clear.

On the other hand, I hear there are servers out there that have hacked the respawn times to 0 and most servers have turned off the Counterstrike mode crap, so I might give it another chance sometime. They just need to add some real teamplay factors, beyond the pseudo teamplay medic crap. I didn't even have HL2 though, so I guess it was worth it just to have access to my first Source mods, and FF is good.

PS. The Orange Box, oddly enough, does NOT include HL2DM. Not a huge deal - but I was curious to see how the gravity gun worked out in multi-player.

...of course the MAIN reason to get the Orange Box has got to be, hands down: PEGGLE EXTREME!

Portal is over by the time you lose interest in it. My friend just beat it in an hour and half. Theres some bonus stuff... but yeah... its pretty short.
