I'm guessing that it was going to be a future transition point. Please note: I used half-life to noclip through the window. Enjoy the photos, and comments?

Yea Vampire Slayer is a cool mod. After a little bit of thinking, I've come to the conclusion that my hud is different because I just moved the msc sprite into the valve folder.

The only reason I looked behind there is because I was on Thothie's server and we all started talking about it and trying to see if we can open it.

TBH I know what's back there - in addition to the map source, I was noclipping all over that map, when I was trying to figure which brushes to move to fix the "reach out and grab you" library pillars...

What I don't know, and refuse to look for until I get to making Shrinkspell or something, is if there's a way to actually get back there. Anyone can noclip through a map - but can ye find the secret?

Har Har Har. That's my mission now, find out what triggers that to open/break/slide? (If it's possible.) There has to be something to do that.

I will keep you guys posted on how my "research" is coming along, maybe even with pictures.

Double update in the name of research!

Anyway, I've looked @ the map by converting it to .map and opening it in hammer. The window is a func_wall :-/

If this isn't a bug with the bsp2map program, it says there are 2 msarea_music entities behind it?

I decompiled the map and took a look at it, and I even looked at the actual BSP file in BSP Viewer, and that window is indeed a func_wall with two msarea_music entities behind it.
