Well I know its only the second day into april but MAN im really REALLY eager for the new update lol. So I was wonderin if anyone else out there is eager? :3

BTW whats the status on it thoth? cause im at wits end about the server error thing x.x...

We are all eager for it. But over a while you get used to the update being late a few days. RL can be a b!tch some times.

Heheheh yea RL is a pain...for the past few weeks ive been in and out of depression from seperation so thats why im so far within less than a months worth of time x.x...

Yea you can tell im ready to get that big sword >:3, but other than that, gonna be a LOT of work involved in gettin it so im patient...already seen the model in the file and all I can say is whoever did the model is a genius :3.

Think all I've left to do is compile and test sfor a few times, and spend some time making sure client 255 bug is gone. Hopefully can do all that tonight, and will have a release while it is still the 2nd somewhere in the world (Think we've blown any chance of it being the 1st somewhere in the world.)

Hes gonna test to see if the patch will fix 255, not sayin its gonna be 100% fixed, but we can all hope :3.

Well, I've gotten it to the point where I absolutely positively cannot duplicate it anymore... But I thought the same thing about monster gibbing before.

I've got it down to two possibilities:
- Flaw in the Game Master script (this explains why it's always the 2nd player on who gets it.)
- SSEx Optimized Builds fuxing with elements in Client Build

Hopefully its the former and not the latter. We can't put out different client builds for different CPU's cuz of the way HL verifies clients. The APR2008a client is built with the standard build after running the SSE2 server build - so if people connecting to your server STILL get the 255 bug, try swapping your MS.DLL with the SSE2 version. If this resolves it, post me ASAP, but hopefully this bug is just gone and we won't have to worry about that.
