For all the lazy people who can't read Lanethan (Really. Read it.), I have made a one page summary (Read the 46 page one). Lanethan is pretty much required reading (so read the real one) for my stories as well as a better understanding of the game.
You can download real one here or the pdf here.

Originally, the planet was inhabited by a race called the "Loreldians." The Loreldians were a powerful race, approximately 10 feet in height with elf-like ears and a multitude of hair colors. A Loreldian, whose name is unknown, discovered the power to change fate. He did not foresee any problems, so he shared this knowlege with the other Loreldians. It did not take long before the power was abused. The world constantly changed. When a Loreldian wanted a building, it was there. When another Loreldian wanted it gone, it was gone.
Eventually, the Loreldian's realized that they were destroying the world. Their newly appointed leader, Pathos, told them all that they must banish themselves from the world before they destroy it. The remaining Loreldians, few in number already, split into two factions; those with Pathos and those against. Those with Pathos eventually overpowered those against and banished them from the world.
When asked what to do next, Pathos responded that three Loreldians should stay behind to rebuild the world. Three Loreldian's volunteered - Felewyn, who represents Order, Urdual, who represents balance, and Torkalath, who represents Chaos. The other Loreldians banished themselves from existence.
Enter Aginor, an elf whose parents were once great warriors for Felewyn. He lived in a forest town known as Eswen Sylen. His parents abandoned the fight between Order and Chaos in order to have a better life here with their son. Aginor's friends included Idemark and Lilia. During a spring festival, Cristiel, a childhood enemy of Aginor's attempted to invade the village and kill Aginor. He was stopped and fled, but because of this attack, Aginor had to leave.
Aginor took with him an old suit of armor from his father that he believed to belong to the Dark Knight. As such, Aginor felt he must return this armor to the closest Felewyn guild hall, Astori Te Lunia. He left the town, accompanied by Larren, a swordsmaster. Larren quickly died and Aginor made the trip to Astori Te Lunia by himself.
When Aginor finally made it to Astori Te Lunia, he had lost his voice. It was in the medical ward that Aginor was first called Lanethan, which is what he is known as now. It took him awhile to recover, but when he had, he was made a captain of the Astori Te Lunia army. Upon receiving this title, the leader of the guild challenged Lanethan, and was quickly struck down by Lanethan's bow. Thus, Lanethan become the head of Astori Te Lunia.
After many years, Lanethan grew tired of the mundane life, so when a fellow Felewyn guild asked for assistance in battle, he jumped at the chance and found that the leader of the other guild was his old friend Idemark. Idemark told Lanethan that the leader of the Torkalath guild was a female elf who had gone astray.
During the great battle, the two friends found out that the leader of the Torkalath army was Idemark's younger sister, Iquitas. Felewyn, Torkalath, and Urdual all came to watch the battle, and despite protests from Urdual, Felewyn and Torkalath swayed the battle to their sides by destroying land, killing fighters, etc. In the middle of the battle, Pathos appeared. He had come back from the land of the Banished.
Pathos met with the Loreldians and they agreed to never appear on the mortal plane again. To compensate, each Loreldian was allowed to choose one Apostle to represent themselves. Felewyn chose Lanethan, Torkalath choose Cristiel and renamed him Kurgoth, Urdual chose Mylance, and Pathos chose Idemark and Iquitas.
After many years, it was decided that there was too much Order in the world. A human by the name of Jiro was chosen to recieve great power from Torkalath and bring more Chaos to Daragoth. Jiro was eventually renamed Lor Malgoriand, The Shadowbringer, by an army of elves that died to him.
Lor Malgoriand eventually grew too powerful and the Apostles were sent to defeat him. Torkalath attempted to remove his power from Malgoriand, but he only seemed to get stronger. It was discovered that his power was coming from The Lost, the Loreldians who had been banished for being against Pathos.
Lor Malgoriand killed Idemark, something that had been thought impossible, and the other Apostles retreated. Felewyn herself came to kill Lor Malgoriand and suceeded. Lanethan, distraught over the death of his friend, went to the soul well and tried to bring him back, but couldn't at first. He remembered a dream he had and was able to meld himself with Idemark and leave the soul well. Lanethan became the new Apostle of Order for Pathos and a new human was brought to be Felewyn's apostle. For now, Lanethan sleeps and awaits his return.
