only happens in this mod, none other (or other games), and only on my laptop (currently using external USB logitech mx518).. neither of my 2 desktops at home and i cant figure this out. basically, i can move my mouse fine when im not walking. however if i walk forward or run, the mouse will barely move to either side and is extremely juttery. ive tried reformatting my laptop (drivers + game only no other software) and no difference. ive also tried several different drivers (windows OR Logitech setpoint) as well as different versions of drivers. i cannot for the life of me figure out wtf is going on as it doesnt happen at all on my other 2 machines, and its definitely not the mouse cuz i have 3 mx518 and 1 mx510 and they all do the same thing. ive also tried different usb ports. i have also, in set point, tried setting different DPI res settings (100-1600) and it doesnt make a difference. id love to make this work on my laptop cuz i play at work when theres nothing to do (which is frequent). any suggestions or ideas?

Does it feel like the mouse just "cuts out" at certain times? I have this problem as well. I've solved it temporarily by alt-tabbing, then going back into the game.

The Logitech 510+ series has been known to be CPU intensive from time to time, especially with the drivers installed, which can cause odd behavior in some cases. It's also been known to conflict with other devices on the USB hub (not likely the case, with a laptop).

If your laptop has a PS/2 port, I'd suggest using the (provided) USB->PS/2 adapter and hook it up through there. I've never run into this issue myself, but a lot of folks I know have been hit by this odd behavior in Natural Selection from this mouse series, and that's invariably fixed it.
