My turn to ask a stupid question!
I'm gonna be out a lot, and I'll have my laptop with me, and I'm *hoping* to sneak in some time testing MS:C - but I'll be in the middle of nowhere, with no net. *gasp*
I've installed MSC on my laptop. It let me play in off-line mode the *first* time, but now every time I try to do it, it throws a temper tantrum about not being able to contact the Steam Auth server (even though I'm in freaking off-line mode).
Probably related to the fact when I type "map edana" (or whatnot) in console, it launches a server. Unlike most other games that go into single player dev mode, and stay off-line.
So... Any advice for getting the bloody thing to let me start a map in off-line mode, so I can test this thing on the road? Seems script debugging takes at least 5x as long as creation does.
PS. Hopefully someone can give me a hint before I'm in the middle of no where... Maybe I'll pass a wi-fi spot and check in.
