A) Download MSC Base Client
B) Downoad Thothie's Auto-Patcher
C) Exit out of Steam entirely before applying patch
D) Are you using a legitimate copy of Steam platform?
E) If you are still bugged; then your operating system sucks

Seems more likely he has a Rune Axe, or Lost Blade, or one of the other cheat items I temporarily axed in that release to beat the item limit. (Tis what gets you that specific error.) Sounds like he's not FN though, so it's not my problem.

I play listen server, only recently have I been able to play on steam to due a better inet connection. No way for me to transfer over? I just saved enough to buy my knights plate mail and I don't want to start over, I understand that you wouldn't want to do this because then people could / would try to get thier hacked death-squad chars in. But you're talkin to someone who has trouble soloing orcs in daragoth.

people on FN are pretty helpful grog, added to that you know where many things are...unless you've got a 25+ character - it'll go alot faster
