I leave for BCT in one more week. Next week Tuesday. May 25th. I'm finally getting out of my hometown. And not to smoke pot at frat parties. Filing paper work to transfer to the regular Army, so I'll be saying good-bye to the National Guard and hello to the active duty military life. Pretty happy to have made it this far (couple issues along the way, like lying to cops to cover for friends, but everything got brushed away and I'm clear to go).
One more week!

Wow, surprised no one said anything when you left. Don't know you that well, but good luck! You might get a bit further than "just out of your hometown," though.
