Just a question, what happens if we buy the OB for PC and we already have HL2 and all of those already installed. Are we allowed to get something like a pass for them, for a friend who might not have them? I of course am asking about their online store as if I bought it IRL I would get the CD keys which I could give out, right?

I guess they let you gift the things you own to friends.
I'm probably getting that package, and own HL2 and EP1 as well, so I looked into it.

I don't know how it is if you buy the thing online, but if you buy a used copy IRL you have to go through a long and annoying process to get the CD Key switched to your username. It involves $10, mailing the original CD Cover (or whatever the CD Key is printed on) to Steam, and then waiting for the reply.

I was implying the cd keys that are usually there when you first buy it, not retrieving them from used copies

But yeah, i've just been very curious cause I dont want to waste my money for games I already have if I cant give them away.

Haha, from what Jabba was telling me, Peggles has something to do with Half-Life (despite looking like a fanciful unicorn game from the screenshots I found on the homepage for it).

Once HL2: Ep2 comes out, I hope to either --->
A) Bum my bro's account to play & beat it, as I already played & beat Ep1 on my own steam account.
B) Buy my own Orange Box rights from steam (if I stop being so lazy).

yes srsly, tis funny although i only got the peggles demo i found it quite addictive. it has some funny sounds from tf2 portal and hl2 aswell as css.
