I get this error more often the more I play. Currently it´s like every 15-30 minutes. It´s really annoying. I´m just playing and suddenly I get this error and crash!

Seems that a reboot fixed it... if it should occur again and a reboot wont fix it I will report again

Seems that this only happens on x64-systems. I played yesterday with a friend more than 2 hours and it didn´t crash once! He hosted the listen-server on a 32bit-system
Please add better x64 support then :p!

I actually asked for your OS. But because you are using a 64bit-processor, I guess that you use Win XP Pro 64bit.
But maybe it´s not the OS... whatever. I´ll post my system here. Maybe it helps.

AMD 6000+ x2 (64bit)
ATI HD 2900XT
2 GB RAM
320 GB HD
Realtek HD Audio
Windows XP Professional 64 bit

all computers run 64 bit CPU's now a days, it depends if your running the 64bit windows OS. considering the 64 bit OS runs 64 bit applications natively and 32 bit applications emulated then you might be seeing the error for that reason. If not, then you have a. really bad chock on your network, b. really bad internet, c. just bad luck.

I've never had any performance increase by running the 64-bit OS's (actually, quite the opposite), not sure why people go through that headache.
