Player Issues - Possible Ban Request

I'm not sure if this is intentional or just a bug, but a player named Sky steam id 6124169
will join a server and you will have sudden issues, such as lag, no messages coming up
and weapons loading very slow, or you crash out.

I followed him to several servers as he bounced around and it seems as soon as he joins
people leave, other servers worked fine, when he leaves all is good.
I even tried to get a status in console and it took several tries before his id came back.

Cartman has also followed him and experienced the same things.

Now, I'm not sure if this is done on purpose, but something is not right, he does not seem to play
just joins, asks a question or comment then just waits till everyone leaves, then goes to another
server to do it over again.

Would need the whole ID to really look into it. We have 6124169 on three different ports, oddly enough (0,1, and VALVE_). I dunno if that alone might be causing a problem (seems awfully strange >_>).

Sky's steam ID is STEAM_0:1:16124169. and yes, I've seen him around for a couple days and every server he joins starts to have that action lagging bug, where all your actions and even chat lags for upto a minute or 2, by this point in time it's likely he is doing this on perpuse since it would be hard for me to believe that he hasn't realized yet what his char is doing for other players.

He probably has special characters in his name or it starts with a space, which can cause that bug to happen.

Hrmm... I don't see anything odd on his character, and it behaves fine, client side, at least. Name really is just "Sky" - no odd characters... Unless it's something really bizzare, like the fact his name matches a texture name, or is too short, I'd be guessing it maybe a connection setting of his. :\

He's only got 27hp as of today, so he can't be playing all that much. >_>

Did it show the right hp in the server info for that char? it always shows him as having 0 hp in the server info.

Comes up fine on the scoreboard... Didn't check the server info. Ping's fine, CPU's fine, items all respond to dev commands, character saves come up straight... Character's so young and simple, corruption seems unlikely... Doesn't even have a Felewyn ring. Most complicated items he has on him are a bag of ratskins and a training shield. Hrmm...

An odd connection setting might cause the HP not to register on the server info though. Connection settings don't save with the character, so I can't check what he's been using from that.

Also FYI, you can't join a server he is on, your load screen does a flip, scrolls down/turns black then you get a reliable channel overflow, verified this with 3 other people.

I was able to load mine with him on, but it can overflow sometimes loading a char with him on.

I believe me and stizz got it sorted out, we had him create a new char with a different name and it seems to be working fine now.

I tested out a new char with the name Sky to see if it caused any problems and it doesn't seem to be the name that is causing the problem, before he recreated his char there was some anomalous bandwidth usage with him on, it would go from about 2kb/s to about 4-5kb/s with about a constant choke of 20, this was fixed with the new char.

yea about this character corruption deal, ive had a few corrupts with my char without req rollback, usually due to the fact that i didnt notice the corruption till a few hours later and by then i had gained a bunch of new crap so that i never wanted to rollback..

is there anyway i can re-create my character by giving you guys its stats and equipmentlist?
i dont want my chara to cause lag or break servers / other characters if its busted beyond repair.
