The Only Review that Matters
Granted, I think Portal 2 probably saved my sister's marriage, so I can't really complain about it. Plus Yahtzee obviously has no friends.
I'll toss my hat in on the "hats wtf?" thing though. WTF is with hats?

Portal 2 came (out of the box) with an in-built store where you can buy custom skins, custom gestures, custom hats, custom flags and other dumb console shit noone cares about.
None of it modifies the game though, so I couldn't care less. It's all aesthetics.

Chell is obviously a she-male! I felt just like Gordon Freeman running around like a god.
In all, I liked the game. Then I thought about it; and now I only kind of like it.
The puzzles were also laughable.

I think portal 2's story was much more defined than portal 1... Would I have liked there to be more puzzles? Yes... but don't we all? What I don't understand is why people are stuck up on the whole "PAY US $ AND YOU CAN LOOK BETTER THAN THE GUY ON YOUR FRIENDS LIST!!1!ONE!11!!" Its valve, they'll do what they can for extra $ ... wouldn't we all? maybe. I don't think that an optional, non-game effecting feature should make a game considered trash, even TF2 has their items obtainable through playing, if any unique effect items are purchase only, I would understand how you feel about it, but paying valve to have an equal gaming experience is not required currently. People who get into trading for the COOLIOEST UNUSUAL however... thats just a waste of $.
I haven't had a chance to play TF2 lately, but as far as I know its still one of the better FPS games for me because it does not have realistic bullet damage... I like my games to be unrealistic.

I played portal 2 for about... 30 hours, i beat the coop and story and then got all the steam achievements. And i haven't played it since 19th of april. To me it was VERY Short and very easy, but it was good.
