Generally you are pretty advanced (and rich) by the time you need a Potion of Forgetfulness (ie. You've filled all eight of your spell slots). Further, I don't think there are any tomes that are available only though purchase. At least one of every type can be found, somewhere, just some are very rare.

Not really, level 15 and 5700 gold. I heard that rejuvation is hell expensive (some thousands) and the others... I have "only" filled 6 slots anyway. And there are no interesting tomes out there, so I just "lost" that potion somewhere.

Rejuv is 8000, and I don't think I've ever seen it NOT be in the stores (Scroll form, at least)...

Way too expensive, I'd say. I have 5600 and it still would have to be enough for rejuvation, glow, lightning storm and ice shield.

5600 isn't that much, and money isn't hard to get.

Rejuv = 8k
Glow = Easily found
LStorm = Easily found
Ice Shield = Easily found

Tome's cheaper (150gp +/-), but you shouldn't have to be worrying about the forgetfunlness pot at level 15 anyways.

And I won't later. Reason: I don't use tomes anymore. Buyable stuff is not useful and findable stuff... Well, try to find anything! Hard due to most bosses impossible to do alone and getting anything useful from a chest is a thing of luck instead of need.

this is why this game is a MULTIPLAYER online RPG...

point being, you aren't supposed to be running around alone, you're supposed to be finding other players and getting them to help you...

Point: that makes it nearly impossible to pick up a dropped/chested spell.

I wonder what Reboot considers "useful" at level 15. Just because those level 30 guys are running around with GIB's, Flame Licks, Dark Mauls, and Gold Armor, doesn't mean you should be doing the same at half the level. Keep the pot, buy the tome, you'll find your scrolls soon enough. Seems more than enough people have, or you wouldn't have anyone to make you complain about chest whoring.

I just think that being LVL 30 won't make getting items from chests more easy. At least, I'd be able to kill some stuff with no help, but that isn't the goal of MSC. But I get ur point. So close that thread? It is misnamed anyway.

Well they got the items somehow, so obviously they aren'timpossible to obtain.... and you could edit the front post and fix the name.

Generally if you call an item, it seems, people tend to honor it. There's more evil methods - could always use a crystal of return on Foutpost, and such, but even my level 27 character FN has managed to gather a pretty formidable arsenal, and I let everyone have their pick first, and just take leftovers, things no one wants, trades and hand-me-downs... And I hardly ever get to play.
