So, my new video card is on the way and I should be able to run MSC on my alternate computer soon. Upgrading to a Geforce 8400GS. Like a boss.

Hope we get new patch soon. :/

Sad that I remember when a GeForce 5600 would get max FPS on MSC, and now I doubt whether an 8400 would even handle it smoothly.

I purchased a refubished office computer for my Computer Support Technician program. Had to get one so I can take it apart and make OS modifications to it.

Was hoping to use it for more than just school, but I needed an upgrade and the graphics cards it takes are quite limited.

Ah, ye old AGP graphics cards... Yeah, I still run into a lot of those in offices, and have to dig around a bit to find replacements - always a bit surprised they are still being manufactured.

If ya get it running, give me a heads up on what kinda FPS ya get, with and without bloom - am a bit curious.

Most likely it will work, i used to play ms:c in my old laptop and the gpu wasn't that much better... It ran the game perfectly with bloom (no visual issues with it), also using the detailedtextures thing.

There was only 2 mods giving issues to my old laptop, cry of fear and the naruto mod. Cry of fear was playable with some adjustments but Naruto, there was no way around it back then.
