I'm with Barnum; the Wii blows. That movement sensitive controller; guess what, PS3 has one too. Just no video games that use it... or very few.

Movement sensitive crap has been around since Black&White with the glove control system.

ahh, but the wii is very easy to use and not very intimidating as the controls are fairly simple. my girlfriend's dad played it, and he doesnt know how to turn a computer on =X

Edit: Sony still believes they can reach their target amount of Playstation 3's to be sold before the end of the year; 2.000.000... Maybe they forgot that this year ends in two weeks and there's no chance in hell they will sell two million consoles in those two weeks.

awesome! lol. my girlfriend and i waited in a line saturday night to get one. its actually her christmas present, so its gone now but a wii and a 2nd wiimote+nunchuk await her. and i got rampage for wii, so stoked lol.

gears of war is too generic though, aliens vs humans is so overdone that i dont even bother with it. im excited for assassin's creed. although its really like those prince of persia games, it looks neato.

yes its true that computers will out perform all consoles at some point, however PC is unable to play a good platformer game. I personally own both the PS3 and the Wii. I do like both, and if you haven't played motorstorm yet I feel sorry for you! That game is so freaking awsome it defines it! As for my Wii the controls are where its at, what more is needed to be said. As for PC it will always be best for RTS and FPS besides that...

May the gamers always be divided by there consoles and PC.

I just go for it all I collect games and consoles

What do you mean "will become"? There are already PC's twice as good as the PS3 (which is rather powerful for a console... hence the high price). Have you checked out Intel recently? They have a setup of overclocking & the such that breaches 5GHz; combined with a good coolant system, awesome power supply, amazing video card, and two gigs of RAM, you have outmatched the PS3 right there.

Only reason consoles last so much longer playing games before needing to be reset (and yes they do lag after too much time playing a game, I have tested playing San Andreas for the PS2) is because most/all PCs' have adware & spyware shit in the backgrounds with all of these secondary graphical user-interfaces on... whereas a console simply has the system startup programs & a game.
(Albeit later consoles seem to be becoming more like laptops now, since they are getting desktops, keyboard add-ons, wireless mouse hook-ups, and Internet connection*XBOX360 HINT INTERNET HINT*)
