Quest for the Blood Drinker?

How hard is it to get the Blood Drinker? I know you're not supposed to post spoilers, but just give me an idea. I'd like to know exactly what I started such a big commotion over. I have a vague idea.

I just quit WoW. Dunno if anyone else has played it (*looks at the WoW map image in the header*), but would it be like farming the legendary from BT or an epic from a heroic? Or something lesser?

Well, what am I comparing its length to?

If you got swords level 30 you should be able to do that quest with some help, it's not THAT hard.

I and one other have done it and i only had 28 swords(which after getting a BD i decided to go nightmare for 2 days and raise swords 2 levels to use it..lol)....But then again with the way people seem to be posting on forums, you would think it would take a full server full....So i guess its all in how you play...If you use teamwork you and even one other could do it..It might take a while but anything is possible...But in my opinion its easier to get then some of the other less powerful things in this game...

Really it depends, In WoW terms, imagine trying to 10 man kara with a bunch of fresh 70's who've never done end game before. For your level (your about level 10 right now right) that would be fairly accurate. looks like it can be done with 3 level 40ish, fairly easily with 5 level 40ish and cake with 8 level 40ish

Never played WoW but ive played diablo 2 and i had everything you could ask for there and the hardest thing (at the time ) to get was a SoJ....In my opinion it as hard to get as It is to get to diablo....It takes forever to get to him and kill him but when you do...he drops all kinds of junk....Its hard in enough that you may need help to get to, but its not that hard to get if you can make it to him....And then it just depends on whether someone else gets it before you or lets you have it....So it basically depends on does everyone but you have one and are they willing to let you get it, or are they gonna say nah i want another one just so you cant have it...or lets roll for it...

The Stone of Jordon has been superceded by hundreds of items, by now. Diablo 2 was (and still is) an epic game, though.

Right now, the hardest item to obtain is the Annihilus Charm.

In short, it's the hardest quest in the game.

It takes place on the hardest set of maps in the game. Requires you have some of the meanest folks in the game to complete. Or at least, that's the intent. The run often seems easier than it should be - but if you go in with a lack of levels, the opposite is true, so it maybe working about right.

It's not the longest quest in the game though... I think that goes to the Bloodstone ring quest, which isn't nearly as hard, but it more or less requires you to go through half the maps in the game world, so it's quite a bit longer. A Bood Drinker quest can actually go fairly quickly (maybe an hour total), if you have a big enough crew of 40'ish level players about, but the Bloodstone ring quest is much harder to accelerate.

If you know what you're doing and get a big enough group for that certain map, you can certainly tackle it in about an hour.
