We got a couple of maps that are, more or less, good to go with ripent alone, but have no good connections to other maps (or not enough of them). Thus, an archway door that could be placed into existing maps via env_model would be quite handy. Like so:
No animations or whatnot required.
Another thing that would also be handy, but would require animations and likely be a bit more complicated, would be a dimensional portal style door, through which monsters could enter:
(This one is from Savage, and is far too complicated, but demonstrates the concept well.)
Something like this would be handy for spawning monsters in tight spaces, and the like. Think it'd just need on/off animations. (ie. glow/no glow, or spin/no spin). A variety of such dimensional portals (stone, metal, wood) would also be useful. Could also be used for transitions on maps, as the simpler door above.
