Shoes/boots?

An idea just came to me for equipment, boots or shoes.
You could use some of them to give you a running boost/run faster (ex Icarus sandals 5-15% faster walking/running) and More dmg resistance depending on the kind you get (Ex acid boots give 25% poison resist, Lightning boots give 25% lightning resist).

This may seem like a good or bad idea, but its just a suggestion.

That's an alright idea. Only thing that confuses me is that on most RPG games wearing better shoes or boots automatically increases or defense/armour. I guess this should apply with rats and spiders.

I would rather have boots that increased kick damage and/or added an elemental effect to kick damage. Imagine, fire gauntlets and ice boots!

Boots could also reduce stamina drain. Also, perhaps some type of terrain could be made impassible and magical shoes would allow you to walk across it?

Boots of Water Walking, which allow you to walk across bodies of liquid (no matter how hot) for a duration based on how much mana you have, say, draining 15 mana per second. I like.

Some ideas if shoes/boots were put in:

(Regular?)boots: slower stamina drain/faster run speed

Runegahr's cleats: increased stun and knockback distance to stun kicks.

Horrorskin moccasins: 20% poison damage reduction

Skeletal shoes: 10% damage reduction

Elite (Flame) boots: 10% fire damage reduction

Elite (Ice) boots: 10% ice damage reduction

Elite (Lightning) boots: 10% lightning damage reduction

I like the ocarina of time kind of deal where u put on some heavy ass boots to prevent a boss from kicking u 100000 ft way or some hoover boots to jump higher, like a double jump or glide for a period of time. If you would walk over lava that would kind of defeat the purpose since most of us have like 300 mana that would be a while of lava walking lol.

Iron boots prevent beeing kicked back and maybe increase MA physical damage but make u slower
Hover boots - double jump and glide of buildings for a period of time but make ur lighter making u knocked around more but more evassive. good for spell casters

What about P's set of armor? The boots could negate all annoying knockbacks or, even better just have the boots and gauntlets used as MA weapon that deals dark damage or something.

But about knockbacks, I'd like to see a ring of stability that offers 30% stun resistance. So wearing the helmet of stability+the ring of stability you'd be unmovable and immune to stuns just like a potion of stability would.

I'd really like that. We could choose to have no elemental resistances at all since we'd have to take off lightning ring or bloodstone in exchange of freedom and control.

I want this nao! xD

That all sounds good. But I would very much like to see some bonus to having the entire armor set on at once. I'm not thinking of something huge but somewhere around a 5% damage increase or maybe even just a dark smoke around the player... or something.

I think the Armor of the Fallen would be cool to wear for the whole set (excluding ushield and ds for full effects) always imagined them releasing armor like that someday lol

Or, if you have the whole set (DS and Ushield included), you get one more power up with the DS AND/OR the Ushield wont slow you down.

What if each one gave you one extra charge for the DS and if you wore them both them you got two extra charges?

Also good idea for the set though it'd be cool to also see bonus for excluding ds and ushield, though still good idea with ds and ushield.
