They start today, and I for one am extremely excited. Does anyone else here follow hockey? I think I remember seeing at least one person with their location listed as Canada, so there's hope.

Go Avalanche!

I don't really watch hockey on TV, but I used to go to live games a couple of times a year. I like it, but I'm more of a football/basketball fan, and since there's only one week left in the regular season for basketball (and March Madness ended with the awesome national championship game), I'm more focused to see if my Warriors can get that 8th seed in the West and to watch the Lakers re-take the Pacific Division title from them tharr pesky Suns.

But for the sake of the topic, Go Ducks! or... Go Wings! (Though I'm starting to like Crosby, Malkin, and them tharr Pittsburgh Penguins ).

Ducks and Wings? :(

I'm more interested in Ovechkin than Crosby myself.

I liked Kariya when he was in Anaheim, and that was the first live hockey game I ever watched. As for the Wings, they're the only Detroit sports team I actually like, and that's cause of Chelios and the rest of the defense.

Oh, and Ovechkin is a beast.

I don't watch many sports except football, hockey is one of my least favorite sports to watch on TV. But Erik Cole brought the cup to my hometown last year because he's from where I live, so that was awesome, I got to see it up close. :)

Once again it's up to the Western conference to provide early round playoff drama. Avs win in OT, and Sakic adds yet another playoff OT game winner to his resume.
