Something I've noticed ingame is that you cannot tell if you are ice shielded, stunned, or sometimes even frozen in first person, but you can see it in thirdperson.

I think it would be a good idea to add (with the option of it being toggled off, of course) some sort of status bar that shows what sort of effects you have on, and how long it will be before they wear off, so that you know when you are about to lose your ice shield, or when you should release your charge attack.

Would it be possible to also manufacture some sort of warning system that places an arrow on your screen showing you who's afflicted by what and where they are? E.g. someone behind you gets frozen, so you get an arrow showing you where they are (much like the MEDIC! warning in Team Fortress 2) with the appropriate status icon and their name.

I don't *think* so... One could likely put an ice icon over folks heads, but the fact that they are glowing ice-blue should already be hint enough. 'sides, whatchya gonna do about it? (I mean, other than laugh at them.)

Yeah, the biggest flaw with MS is that it's not really a team game. You can't do anything useful to effect your team besides kill the monsters faster. If they get frozen, too bad for them.

Well ye can heal and ice shield them, or use healing circle. Several of the bigger monsters, and a few of the maps, are also designed with team play in mind, and treasure layout is always better with more players.

Part of my old plan for specialists was going to allow cancellation magic for elemental specialists, and support types, that would be able to undo things, like freeze, over an AOE, and add specific elemental resistances to others, etc. Although, at the moment, our primary method for canceling effects seems to be busted. (Albeit, it would be possible to re-write the scripts to allow it, thus bypassing the faulty code-side function.)

Future thing in anycase... I think all we need is two more scripts from Jelly, and a stable DLL build from MiB, and we're done.
