A nice, loud thunder storm just rose up here... and I feel a need to talk about it. It looks *awesome*. I've already visibly seen lightning land... seven times, as of just now. Extremely loud, shaking the walls loud: I should record it, but my webcam doesn't stretch too far, so it won't reach the window. It is so awesome!!! :D

Me, personally? Michigan, somewhere around Lansing; I won't say exactly where.

For tehrilez: he isn't alone for humidity dislikings. When it isn't raining, it gets too warm & I have to put the AC on.

We've been getting some fun ones around here, too. Had a tornado warning the other day, which was fun.. I had my little brother yelling at me to hurry up and such 'cause I was trying to get my comp shutdown/unplugged. That's right. I'm just THAT big of a nerd to put the computer above myself :p

Gotta love nice, mountainy California, where tornadoes almost never occur...Just heat, lots and lots of heat.

I didn't even notice it, but my mom called me up & had me see the news; apparently, during that lightning display I saw earlier, a tornado touched down about ten or fifteen miles away from me. :oldlol:

You sound just like Squirrel.. He wouldn't even know tornadoes happen if his parents did come down to the basement and tell him..

Well. I was gone for 4 hours due to the fact the storm FINALLY got here.

It knocked out the power for a few minutes and shut the internet off for awhile.

A few minutes into it, the worst of it looked like a god damned hurricane. Well, I wouldn't really know that, we New Yorkers never have bad weather (other than snow, which is cool sometimes, makes the city look amazing too)

If you want snow, go the the UP (upper peninsula) here in Michigan. Plenty of it there. Don't blame us Michiganians if you have to have your legs amputated from frost-bite: you come here at your own risk.

I don't believe you remember the snow new york got this year.

My classes were canceled an entire week due to the storm this year.

We had WELL OVER 10 feet, in the CITY.

Ten feet high actively? Like, cars couldn't even drive around?

New York's average snowfall is sixteen (16) inches, or thereabouts.
Michigan's is seventy-five (75).

well the roads were plowed somewhat but yeah, almost ten feet everywhere else.

I remember I couldn't go in my backyard, the snow was too high.
