Stuck in a spider cave

Im currently in the Haunted Forrest. I crossed the lake, went up the rock path, jumped over the waterfall, then continued up the rock path and into this spider cave I found. I looked around until I found this hole with some webbing you can climb down. I killed everything in there, then found this entrance to another area blocked by some webbing. This is where Im stuck. I can't figure out what to do next.... PLEASE, someone help me?

A web is supposed to break open in that room, but sometimes, rather most of the time when i go there, it doesn't... anyway, the only thing past that is just a few spidies and where a really buggy chest used to be in old ms

...well, how do you get to the other path high up on the rock wall in the area with the lake? Is that the exit of the spider cavern? I can't seem to figure this out. I knoticed these things in the middle of the lake, but I don't know what they're for. All I want is that ring... and this level is really confusing me!!

Yes that is the exit. And the chest is not just buggy, it does not appear at all. That path is useless.

I can't figure this out... can someone please tell me where the ring is, so I can move on? This is really getting irritating....
