Well the idea is to create a new item. I would like it to be real.
The idea is to a new pair of gauntlets, called Holy Gauntlets.

they should be uber rare, and give good xp to Martial Artish skill. Because when you are in level 28 MA you only get like 2% when you do Foutpost :p

weapons dont really effect the ammount of xp you get from stuff =\

and if they were holy - you'd only do damage to undead.

dont worry about XP for now, just play with MA for fun and you'll get xp...you'll have a new map to farm soon enough :p

cant just splash some holy water on normal ones? (...hmm sounds like it could lead into a quest to turn normal weapons into holy ones...)

Yeah, that's a great idea. I've got a few spell ideas, too!

1. Chest summon: At level 15 SC you can summon any chest you want
2. Instakill: Instantly kills any monster you look at
3. Invincible: Makes you completely and totally invincible, even to trigger_hurts for the entire map
4. No-Clip: Noclip!

These spell ideas have been brought to you by the "Overpowered players makes games no fun" foundation!

How about: Psychic Powers! Crush the orcs using only your mind!!!

Srrsly though, I think there should be gaunts for every element. So that would make Holy, Ice, Fire, Regular, Poison (thothie's demon spike model?), etc...

This topic went to hell really fast. Therefore, I feel I must contribute.

1) The Torkalath blade: this blade, which is devoted to Torkalath, the God of Chaos, is a very accurate weapon. The blade does average damage, but this is compensated by the fact that you can hit things with it almost twice a second. The spawn chance for it should be 1%, but preferably less. About 0,01% would be more reasonable for a weapon this devastating. The spawn location should also be moved from time to time, just to piss off people who don't have it yet. There's a vague rumor that this weapon is actually in-game, but you and I don't believe that, right?
2) Boss reward nerf spell: this spell, which should obviously be dropped by Keledros (2% spawn chance at most, don't get me wrong) instantly nerfs the reward of any boss you're fighting. You can cast this multiple times on a single boss, resulting in a 0% item drop and 0 gold drop. Very fun to use when there are newbies around. Rumor has it that bosses also cast this on themselves once a month.
3) Chest reward nerf spell: same as above, except for one difference: this spell doesn't work on bosses, but on chests.
4) OMG UBER GOOD spell: this spell, which should have a spawn chance of 100% at every store and in every chest, actually breaks random items. Items that already break (without reason), such as the golden axe, aren't affected by this spell. Everything else is affected, though. Don't break your flame lick, because tongues of Efreet are hard to find, even in the most forgotten places.

Strange that my FN character has one, only he got only two months ago, and it hasn't been moved in about six months. Its location is kinda obvious, if you read the signs.

The only time Keledros will fail to drop gold and scrolls is if you spawn him on a cheatmap, so I'm wondering where you get your ideas from.

Otherwise... He has a 80% chance of dropping one of TEN spells (all of which WORK), and ALWAYS drops 300 gold. Making him a better farm target than he's ever been before.

Other than a smattering of chests in MSCave, no chest has been nerfed to my knowledge. Many have been boosted. There are also more than there have ever been.

Yes, because a weapon that does 6000+ damage should be accessible by just sitting around killing mid-level monsters for an hour.

I meant it as a joke with a cynical undertone. Also, I just did 30000+ damage with the golden axe :mrgreen:

1) The 6000+ damage thing on the MY_NAME / . monster is a bug. You never intended the golden axe to do 6000+ damage and you know it.
2) Same goes for the 3000+ damage thing on Keledros. You made a small blooper with the damage multipliers and you fixed it now.
3) Repeat: the golden axe dishing out 3000+ damage (let alone 6000+, or 30000+) never was your intention, so don't hide behind that.
4) Last but not least: you're the one who chose where to place it. If you would have said you nerfed the item (break it) because it's too easy to get, then I would have agreed. But saying that it does too much damage (because of unforseen, undesired bugs) is something you can't hide behind.

It's still insanely powerful, even when it's working proper. It's the only real effective weapon against some bosses (soon to be the only effective weapon against some, at least temporarily), and I always intended to do something to it.

Also wasn't supposed to be so easy to find, but well... We won't go into that. >_>
