The patches, are vague.

It has been a question to me, should I move up to patch dev_E?

I am at C currently.


The BIGGEST problem IS, the patch download DOES not state its Dev_(letter) and there is NO sticky, or page with a changelong for each patch!

I think we need a sticky with all the differnt patch versions and their changelogs.

THIS WAY, we know if its worth risking the patch. Something large like a fix for deralia would be WELL worth the risk, but because I dont know, and might not ever know what changed after installing the patch, I do not know if its worth making all those backups.


(Ooh yes, and leather armor is still offset)

I agree on the lack of changelog. What am I ment to be testing, and known what is fixed?

On map loads.




And I forgot the console command for fiding what version you are running.

Ill start on my own for the time being, check for edits to this post.


Dev_e
(Must install patch then replace the DLLS with the ones on the patch page)
-Fixes dev_c slow movement bug
-Fixes strange framerate flickering when torch is active
X-Fixes having to enter a transition twice-X (Scratch that)
-Spiders STILL spawn in walls or outside the map, this bug dates back to MS1.30
-Fixes arrows in breakables causing crash
-Seems like it lowers orc flayers health, I killed one without dieing. BEFORE it took me 5 deaths to kill 1, and I was the same level.
-Damage ratio seems to be increased, which may explain the above
-Deralia still doesnt work :(
-It appears to be brighter in the daytime than dev_c

This is off-topic, but are all devs currently active on this project? (By all I mean the ones listed on the site.)

Also, are there any particular roles you need filled on your dev team? I know there is a join link but it seems the most recent member joined nearly a year ago?
