This thread is intended to get as many people as possible to brainstorm ideas for new potions. Please be as creative as you are able. If you like another persons idea, say so. Don't be afraid to add or expand on anothers ideas, either.
If this thread takes off I will eventually make a list of every potion that receives a good response from the community and put it in the first post with a brief description and a link to the post where said potion was suggested.
I will start us off! I would like to see a kind of 'phantom potion' that allowed you to become a ghost when you died. By becoming a specter you would suddenly be able to see ghost NPCs that only ghost characters could see. These ghosts could tell creative stories about Daragoth and act as starting points for quests. There could also be rare monsters that could only be seen and killed in a specter state. It might also be appropriate to remove exp gain and loss entirely when one is a ghost, and maybe even restrict weapons and armor to what the person was using when they died. Of course, the player should be either invisible while in this state, or see through kind of like the ether gloams. To escape the ghost world one must find a potion of life.
Another potential potion is some Berzerkers Ale. Damage with axes would increase while you are drunk. Perhaps this potion wouldn't make you drunk for long but so long as you kept drinking ale the benefits would remain. This would give the useless beers and wines in this game a point.
