Transferring Characters?

Is there any way I can transfer my old character from one steamID to another?

On lan, find the save file and change the steam ID to your new one

On FN you're gonna have to ask thothie

I do not think they will do that, because I can see a potential for exploiting. However, my word isn't law.

I can confirm that it's me on both accounts and you can just erase my character on the other one.

If they were to do it, they would need both STEAM_IDs.

IIRC, it's been done once before. Blasto, or Fuzzy or whoever, moved a character from one account to another. It might just have been that they said they could do it or something though. Anyway, I guess it shouldn't be a problem, can't see any exploit potentials there since it will be renamed(I guess) and not copied. But perhaps I just had a dream about it :S

Yeah, I'd imagine all they'd have to do is delete that character from FN's list on one Steam_ID after moving it to the other.

The only thing is, though, I'd assume you'd have to confirm that it is you on both accounts beforehand, and would have to have not played MSC in a day or so, for precautionary measures.

Make sure you send him which slot your character is in, too, if you have more than one character.

I don't really have anything worthwhile on my character that's worth duplicating and the only reason I want my transfer is because I made a new account since I bought the orange box (vac banned on the old account) and I don't want to be switching back and forth just to play MS:C.

You saw this right? Explanation was only for the community, right? You know Blasto is the FN admin/host right?
