Hey all! I used to play Master Sword a very looooong time ago and have often longed for the nostalgia of playing it again. I was very excited to see that MS:C was around and downloaded it. However, after downloading the installer every time I try to launch it nothing happens. I get the dreaded "Busy" circle next to my mouse pointer and it will stay there unless i ctrl+alt+delete out of my download folder :( . I have tried running the program as an administrator but that hasn't helped either, any suggestions would be great as I was truly excited about seeing this game being around still. Hope to hear back soon from you guys!

I can tell you 3 things about this:

- download the installer again from the main website (msremake.com);

-try installing after download see if it works;

-chances that your file got corrupted or your computer is having issues with installers.

So try redownloading and installing again see if it works, if not, then it's most likely your computer having issues with installers (like firewall blocking the program).

Dun need no internetz to installs dis thing...

The MSC installer uses a standard NSIS setup. The only, slightly, unusual thing it does, is auto-detect where your Half-Life folder is based on Steam's registry settings.

It shouldn't cause any issues, should the registry key be missing, but you might try to check and see if it's there via regedit (HKCU\software\valve\steam). If not, you need to re-install Steam anyways. (If you re-install it in the folder it's currently in, you won't need to re-download your games.)

Beyond that, you're into standard trouble shooting with Installers:
http://forum.wisecleaner.com/index.php? ... sis-error/
http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Why_do_I_get_NSIS_Error
To summarize, that includes checking that your temp folder hasn't been nixed from your environment tables, that Windows Vista+ hasn't invalidated your drive for new installers, that the anti-virus hasn't gone wild, that you aren't using "download accelerators", that the file downloaded isn't corrupt (try another mirror), and that the drive hosting the temporary files hasn't gone corrupt.

PS. Also be sure you are downloading from one of the links yonder: http://www.msremake.com/download.php
rather than some less (or more) reputable source.
