A low level friendly map that takes adventurers through many different landscapes until they come across the sacred chapel, do you dare enter?

This is my first map for MSC although I've had alot of previous experience in mapping for HL and TS. If you are over level 15 this map is definitely not for gaining levels :p The map is relatively small but encompasses all I wanted it to.

Status: Complete

It's low-low level map, not mid-level - lest you've added more monsters... There is a giantbat hidden on the map that'll slaughter nubs though - but avoidable.

It's almost a Thornlands "light", nice looking little map with a couple of secrets.

If I'd known it was in development in July, I coulda stuck in a placeholder name for it, and we could be playing it now. As it is, we'll have to wait until next month. I'd like to maybe connect it to Edana Sewers somewhere, because another n00b map would be welcome there, no doubt.

Theres more too it than just the pictures here, obviously. Definitely a low levels map, but I thought you guys were looking for more of those since theres only like a billion insane difficulty maps :p

Is that bloom mod?

I fear to use it due to risk of being VAC banned.

Is that a cross? The chapel looks good, but I'm not sure there's any Christians in the games history. But perhaps there is or it might be another religion with the same symbol? Anyway, the map is looking good!

No, I just used some photoshopping techniques to make it look pretty.

And yes its a cross, but I didn't intend for it to be an affiliated chapel. Its just a chapel.

Tis true - putting a cross on it kinda affiliates it. ;)

We're so inundated with Christian culture in the western world, we tend not to realize that. ;)

Christian Warriors of God.

Yes, but this is the internet, not an RPG ;-)

Rest In Peace doesn't necessarily, and most likely doesn't, come from the Christian religion.

Oh, he meant that.

Mikkel, I didn't meant to say that guilds should have a base in the game world. I meant that the game wasn't steered by guilds, their names or their stories.

I'm not too fond of the cross either.

I would rather it used a different sort of symbol that relates to the Loreldians.

Felewyn, perhaps, seeing as we have a Temple of Urdual. Or Torkalath, if you prefer (Torkalath being evil, Felewyn being good).

Lanethan would be better help here when it comes to symbols and deities.

However, I'm much satisfied with how the map looks :)

We have a Torkalath temple, of sorts, but I WOULD like to see a Felewyn Temple. If you do choose Torkalath, I do believe his simple is 2 red eyes separated by a vertical red line.

I have no idea what any of that means, but I can take the cross out if its really bugging you guys. I put it in because it goes with the lights (which are crosses in one of the msc wads)

I like the cross. Keep it.

Besides, we already have a guild related to Christianity. How is a little marble cross going to hurt?

The cross isn't just a Christianity symbol.

two red eyes with a red line in the middle would look stupid keep the cross
