Lately i have noticed the lack of ingame and forum activity from the community. It takes 1 minute or so to make sure the community isn't dead by posting on someones topic. And playing for a few minutes ingame to level or get an item.

So if anyone is still with me, post something to prove me wrong on the un-active community.

It doesn't take me a few minutes to level...Nor alot of other mid to high level players.
If you look outside the off-topic forums, you'll see that people post.
I don't spend my entire day browsing the MS:C forums, but when I do, I don't post.

Elric you haven't been with the community that long and you can't really say that the community is dead. Lots of people post on the forums that don't play the game, also vice versa. The community is a live and well with more people joining lately. Have you played msc about two years ago, when there were only 3 or so servers active? With all the RKS servers still up and running it must mean that people play on them. The community is not dead my friend.

It does seem dead, but not everyone plays simultaneously (did i spell that right?). So it's not, we still do stuff and post on the forums if we like to.

I've seen more activity than normal lately. Every time I get on the forums there's at least three or so boards with new poppycock to read.

It dips down as usual though.

Forums- agree that people have been less active lately, but you can't blame them since its summer time, aka vacations.

In-game- same reason, with the difference of timezones included in it. Most people who still play ms:c are either: high lvl players grinding/newbies or random player parties from time to time to gather some specific loot.

I have been very busy lately with many things, usually only have time to play MSC in weekends. Hopefully this will get changed next week (no more working for me)

Iv been away the past week on a camping trip. I still view the website on my phone but just dont bother commenting becuase it is long and my phone is crap.... and sticky from all the mid-night lonely tenting activitys with the wonderful phone internet I was having.

I've never been able to figure out why the forum vs. [FN] activity is so outta whack though. There's near 1000 active [FN] accounts (modified in the last month), yet, in addition to being forum shy, it seems they are never on at the same time. Granted, there's the additional complication of Steam zoning going on - I have to plug in active FN addresses into HLSW before I can see them, if they are outside of North Ameirca or Western Europe, so it seems. So I suspect the Asians and Europeans never see each other's servers. Ping would suck, but with this game, it might still be viable. Stupid Steam browser.

Also I set up my char on LAN and have reached level 19 with him when my internet was down and can't be arsed to set up a new one on FN. Once I have completed the game or gone as far as i can go on my own i will then go to FN as I obviously have my internet back
