If you're using WON, you're a better man than I, and I can't help ya.

If you want Steam, you can go to http://www.steampowered.com where you can DL the latest version of Half-Life. You will, however, require a HL CD-key to install it.

If you've got Steam installed, you can DL the Steam Self Installer.
