Sometimes when I join a game I get this error:
Host_Error: UserMsg: Not Present on Client 255
and gets disconnected

Also, when ingame most of what I see is some stupid overlay that blocks my screen.

Newly installed the game and applied the newest patch

Any idea how to fix?

Why do we bother with Stickies on forums when no-one ever reads them!

MAJOR
Host_Error: UserMsg: Not Present on Client 255
- MOST hosts are now generating this to connecting clients, exceptions being my two servers, Mikkel's, and one of the passworded clan servers [EL]. No amount of reconnecting seems to help.
- Solution (hopefully temporary): Disable AMX
- Still got the problem? Delete admins.txt [yes, we realize this means you have no admins on listen servers, be fixed next month]
- STILL got the problem!? Hopefully fixed next month…

ALTERNATE SOLUTION

Go to your MSC folder and delete:
msc\gfx\vgui\hud_main.tga

This will eliminate the vials that make up the health bar backing, but they should still display.

Well, I have to assume some folks do... But of course, they don't post stupid questions, so we never find out do we? ;)

ok thanks. Now is the bugs nearly gone. I just got 2 more. Ingame I'm moving VERY fast and is constant being teleported back, wich makes it very hard to just go though a simple door or hit anything.
Also, my screen is randomly going like this

nvm fixed

Which one?

Either way, looks like a lag issue for the first one.
