Status of the Official Discord, and possibilities of a IRC Bridge

I had an idea, potentially for non-discord users, and perhaps old-time veterans of the Internet Relay Chat system..

Discord has been going on for QUITE a time now, and we have collected a large sum of members, but what if.. members can chat to eachother using IRC, and Discord?

We can perhaps get a slot on weber.freenode.net choosing #mastersword?
KiwiIRC automatically uses weber.freenode.net by default! (https://kiwiirc.com/)

I can see if someone can host the bot, preferably Dark Fox can.. cause he owns the discord as of now; and I don't know who owns the Shenanigans bot, but I have a feeling this can work for International users that can use IRC, maybe Thothie himself??! (omg this would be something), and for anyone who wishes to not use the Discord API.

I will plan on getting this to work and assist them if there is any occuring problems, and of course.. this program will need to be kept running all the time -.. somewhere..

I would have to say that this idea is not that good and unwanted in my opinion since becouse discord itself is good enough for alot people and like it, but have a discord bridge with IRC is just unneeded and finaly i'll just say this that this my opinion and you should not take it personaly.

with the choice of bridges between mattermost, IRC, gitter, xmpp, slack, discord, telegram, rocket.chat,hipchat (via xmpp), steam and matrix with REST API.. I think there are possibilities of more or coding up some.
