I was having fun poking around looking for things about my new fedora core 6 installation and ran across a small program...
they call it: Brutal file manager
It is a simple java based 3d file manager. So what does this mean?
Well basically it gave me the ability to pull out a shotgun and blow up all my temporary internet files(or any file for that matter). This program creates a 3d view of your file structure that you can browse by walking around and warp through all the different folders, then poke, shoot, or explode the files that rest within in the folders and actually deleting them from your system. Brings a new meaning to "hunting for spyware on my computer".
interested check it out here: http://www.forchheimer.se/bfm/
you must have java installed
and you must have java3d installed
KEEP IN MIND THIS ACTUALLY DELETES FILES WHEN YOU SHOOT THEM
THIS INCLUDES SYSTEM FILES
It may be a very simple 3D app, but its still cool just for the fact I could pull out what looks like a shotgun and blast files.
