It's only Calruin2 that's not updating for you? The dates on all the other BSP's match the date you installed the betapack? :|

Hrmmmmm... Assuming the 14th was when you installed the betapack, that looks right. :\ I shall have to examine this further.

edit: Meh, can't duplicate it. But I did notice that the damn blacksmith has a BD bug that seems to be related to his attack range (thought I fixed that, damnit)- but he was there, along with his ever-popular escorting horrors.

calruin2.res

maps/calruin2.res
maps/calruin2_credits.txt
sprites/red_aura.spr
sprites/flameboom.spr
sound/monsters/skeleton/cal_laugh.wav
models/props/bs_looper.mdl
models/monsters/riddler.mdl
models/monsters/horror.mdl
models/monsters/ghoul_lesser.mdl
models/monsters/ghoul_greater.mdl
models/monsters/skeleton.mdl

the horror.mdl is not on the server ...

the issue is the res file not being update proper. It is not in the map pack.

The res file maybe flawed, but that wouldn't cause him to get the map dated error. I r at a loss here, since the map seems to have been updated (ie. the date changed), but mayhaps not altered properly.

Could you post or PM the msc/maps/map_update.log? Maybe there is an error that came up mid-way through patching that may have been logged there.

I'm not, all you have to do is run the update maps batch file in your maps folder. Its pretty easy...

Meh, that's three people with that complaint though, so somethings up. I've played it on a few different servers running on MAY2007a, so I know it isn't "most of you" though...

Log looks fine, same as mine ( 'cept mine is 0.41 seconds elapsed, cuz my rig is l337 :p )

I'll link my copy up and hope it doesn't work. Cuz if it does, I've no clue wtf is going on, it is likely affecting other maps, and there is nothing I can do. If it doesn't, it maybe a script thing not liking your configuration, and at least I can fiddle with it then.

No, tis probably a good thing, as it at least indicates your maps are probably patching properly... It's more likely the verification script itself that is having an issue with your system. Hmmm... Trying to think how to tweak it.

Hrrrmmm... Been looking at this, and I can't figure a way it would fail... A lot of scripts work on the same methodology, so if it fails, so would a lot of others. :/

Do any of you get empty Bandit Boss chests on The Keep? Thing that fills that chest basically works on the same principle.

You are cutting through the ghouls before heading to the Black Smith, yes? You've not found some shortcut I didn't know about?
