Can't see any servers

I reformatted my hard drive (again) yesterday and now I seem to be having trouble with the server browser. At least under the 'internet' tab I have issues. I can still see any and all servers under the 'friends' tab so long as I have friends on my list in one of those servers. This is quite annoying as I'd like to join an empty server every now and then. Any clue as to what causes this and how to fix it?

Click refresh....and wait.
I've had the same problem many times and usually I have to wait for a minute for it show the servers.

This happens sometimes to me. I find that the server browser outside the game usually works fine and I can just join off of that.

Delete clientregistry.blob in your steam folder.

If that doesn't work then use this http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?game=msc
