Where are they stored? I've a little mess to clear up, so I don't end up flamed at the stake.

My information.
Who was the person that was hosting the server you were playing on? They are stored on the host's computer... so if it was Thothie's server, he can help you out. If it was mine, I can....

Add the line "log on" without quotes to your server.cfg. Be warned, though, the logs will pick a a whole lotta shit from the script debug, so add "developer 0" or something to your server.cfg if you're running dedicated. If you're not running dedicated, then you're SOL.

Standard AMX log will not capture MSC chat.

If you have the MSC betapack, it has a chat-only logger that logs to "msc_chatlog.log" in the root of your MSC folder.

However, since said chat log just grows forever, it is disabled by default.

To enable it, you'll need to edit the plugins.ini described in the readme.txt

Similarly, to add admins, you'll need to edit the users.ini, described in the readme.txt

I enabled mine, and now & then I add .bak or .bak2 to a chat log (when it reaches about 200K/B in .txt file size).

I'm making a collection... and one day I'm going to find the STUPIDEST crap said on my own server and post it on the forums here :oldlol:

My chat log has grown to about 2 megabytes of text, I plan on letting it grow until it becomes a 10 meg text file. I don't know why, but I will.

If you will make ten gigabytes worth text files, I would recommend that you make into many text files, and split them up. That way, when you open them, it won't take about six or seven hours :oldlol:

My chatlogs have grown to a profounding 1.6-MB, over the course of three .baks & the current growing one :p
