Computer Crashes while running MS:C

Hello,

Occasionally the game hard crashes to a single colored screen, either green, blue or pink/red. I do not use a mobile Nvidia integrated card from the other post, and I did the clean wipe proposed by Thothie and that seemed to make the crashes happen less often. Not sure if it has to do with OpenGL, but it does seem to happen at random.

I run on windows 7, i7, GTX470. I have updated all my drivers.

Have you tried messing with the video settings a little bit? Try turning the bloom off in-game by pressing B, could be random crashes caused by weather effects perhaps? Whenever a server goes dusk on me, my game gets massive fps lag in 2-3 seconds with a hard crash to desktop, could be something similiar i dunno. Could also try turning the v-sync off and give it a shot afterwards.

Sounds like you may have the Green Screen of Death so many mod players have been reporting. (Even non third party, such as CS/DOD.)

Try adding: -nofbo to your Launch Options. (Right click on MSC in your Steam Games Library, and click Properties.)
