Create char

i can t create a char, when the program ask me the name of char and gender and after the weapon to use send me back to create char i try to open a lan server, but i don t know what can i do. I try to use open gl and i have the same problem

i think that i have the hl 1110 but the game says me that i have an obsolete version, the cd key is original, but the problem is when won try to autentificate, and i don t kwon if these problem is for the key. i have the game version spanish

when i go to the weapons selection, i choose a weapon and send me back to the 3 create char sockets (i said well?) i choose 1, choose again the gender, choose again the weapon and send me back again, it says some to the chars are stored in the server (on green color), up says entering edana in white color.
